About the role
Xuman.AI is building the OS for human-led services — a swipe-to-book marketplace that connects people with trusted human experts. We are hiring a Senior AI Engineer to own our matching, ranking, and recommendation systems end-to-end.
You will design embeddings-based retrieval, two-tower ranking models, and LLM-powered personalization that decide who appears in every user's feed. 100% remote, work from anywhere in the world.
Responsibilities
- Own the matching and ranking stack end-to-end
- Build retrieval, ranking, and re-ranking pipelines
- Run experiments and ship measurable wins
- Partner with product on personalization and discovery
Requirements
- 5+ years building production ML/AI systems
- Strong Python; experience with PyTorch or JAX
- Experience with recommender systems, embeddings, or search ranking
- Comfort shipping LLM-powered features (RAG, function calling, evals)
- Self-directed, async-friendly
